Lumette
Art wallpapers & widgets for iPhone
A new masterpiece every morning
Tell Lumette how you want to feel and which colors you love. Every morning it picks a public-domain painting for you, frames it for your Lock Screen and hangs it on your Home Screen.
Picked for your mood
Choose up to three moods — calm, bright, dreamy, moody, warm or fresh — and the colors that make you happy. Each day brings a new painting that fits, with no repeats for 60 days.
Made for the Lock Screen
Lumette finds the heart of the painting and keeps it clear of the clock. Drag to adjust, then save it to Photos in full resolution.
On your Home Screen
A widget hangs today’s painting on your Home Screen with its title and artist, like a label in a gallery.
A museum label for every painting
Artist, date, technique and the museum it comes from — the facts the museum itself publishes.
Full resolution, really free to use
Every painting is in the public domain and released by its museum under CC0. Your wallpaper is yours to keep.
Your first painting is free
Lumette Pro brings a new painting every morning, full-resolution saves and the widget — as a weekly or yearly subscription you can cancel anytime.
1,100 paintings from three great museums
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Cleveland Museum of Art — from Monet, Van Gogh and Renoir to Dutch winter landscapes and American seascapes. Only open-access works the museums released into the public domain.
